Librarians all over the country are anxiously waiting for this coming Monday, January 18, when the American Library Association will announce the winners of the 2009 Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished picture book, and the 2009 Newbery Medal for the most distinguished American Children’s book, as well as many other awards.
