Read Across America, Saturday March 6 at Lincoln Square Village

Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Urbana Free Library booth at the 10th annual Read Across America Day celebration. There will be community celebrity greeters, stories read in English and other languages, celebrity readers on stage, a parent and toddlers area, and Rotary Rock n’ Readers.

This year Curious George , the man in the yellow hat, and our own library Cat in the Hat will be there to greet you. Booths will feature tons of fun hands-on-educational activities. The first 1,100 children will receive a free book and book bag. -Barb L
