Great Christian Fiction Books

In the last year, the Urbana Free Library Children's Department has added several new series of children's Christian fiction books and "refreshed" some old favorites. A great new series for girls is "Camp Club Girls" which features multicultural characters who live (and play) in different cities in the United States. They have a wide variety of adventures and mysteries. Some example titles are : "Sydney and the Wisconsin Whispering Woods", "Alexis and the Arizona Escapade", and " "Bailey and the Santa Fe Secret". Or, take a peek into the life of the Amish with the spunky "Rachel Yoder" series. And, for younger girls, we have "Meghan Rose". And, if you love horses, we have the "Circle C Beginnings" first chapter books.

Geared towards boys, we have "Bill the Warthog" and the funny "Tales from the Pew" series. Also, we have the newest addition to the "Adventures in Odyssey" family. It's "Imagination Station" with titles; such as, "Voyage with the Vikings" and "Showdown with the Shepherd". The Urbana Free Library also has some new books in the ever popular "Veggie Tales" series. In Easy to Read, some of our new titles include : "What's Up with Lyle?", "Princess Petunia's Sweet Apple Pie", and "Larry Boy Meets the Bubblegum Bandit". And, we have the Veggie Tales characters in "The Mess Detectives".

So, if you're looking for a great book, come check out our newest children's Christian fiction books here at the Urbana Free Library Chidren's Department.       Janet R.
