Great June Children's Programs

The Children's Department at the Urbana Free Library is offering a plethora of fun programs this June for children of all ages. If you enjoy crafts, come to our "Craft Explosion". Later that week, we are having a special outdoor concert (with snow cones) on Saturday with "Fun in the Sun Outdoor Concert with David Howie". Did you ever wonder how the prairie settlers cooked? Come to "Cooking Up History" to find out (including make your own butter). Hissss! To find out more about snakes and turtles and get a chance to touch them, come to "Slither and Crawl". "Ahoy, Matey!" is for all the swashbuckling pirates out there. And, for some fun treats, come to our "Cooking Without Cooking".  Plus, we have are "usual" programs including Babies Lap Time, Toddler Time, Preschool Story Time, and Chess Club.
