In the Children's Department, we have over 50 different magazines to choose from. For our youngest patrons, we have Wild Animal Baby and Baby Bug. And, we have magazines for parents including Parenting, Mothering, Kiwi, and Family Fun. These magazines are located on the Parents' Shelf (near the train table and board books).
Along the back (west) wall of the Children's Department, we have a plethora of magazines for preschoolers through the fifth grade. Examples include : American Girl, Amazing Spiderman, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Scooby Doo, Kiki, Stone Soup, Ask, Muse, Click, Iguana, Zoobooks, National Geographic Kids, and
Kids Discover to name a few. So, whether you're interested in sports, comics, crafts, fashion, animals, or stories, the Urbana Free Library Children's Department has the magazine for you. Kids can lounge in our comfortable chairs while enjoying a children's magazine or parents can sit in a comfy window seat while watching their toddler.
