The Urbana Free Library Children's Department has over 50 big books available to be checked out. Big books are great for teachers to use with a group of children due to the large size of the pictures and text. Some of our most popular big books include : "Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs", "Five Little Ducks", "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed", "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", "In the Tall, Tall Grass", "Planting a Rainbow", "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?", and "The Seals on the Bus". What better way to enjoy one of these favorite stories than in big book format? The big books are located at the "back"/west wall of the children's department. Or, ask at the Children's Question Desk, and we'll gladly show you where they are located. So, the next time you are at the Urbana Free Library's Children's Department, take a look at our great big books collection.
